The third Green Home Festival was officially launched in the heart of Edinburgh at 10am on Monday 12 August.
This year’s special guest was Dr Alasdair Allan MSP, Acting Minister for Climate Action, who spoke at the launch to kick off the week-long celebration of renewables opportunities.
As well as the MSP for the Western Isles, Gordon Nelson of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) and Justin Sullivan, President-elect of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), also welcomed delegates to the 2024 event and set the scene for the week ahead.
With refreshments served, guests were given the chance to network and meet others committed to building a greener future for Scotland, after which they were invited to remain and watch the first presentation of the week.
